Pokemon Villages

I spent my whole week up at my cabin in Grand Rapids, MN, with some family who I haven’t seen in a few years. I just got back today, and I’m so fucking glad to be back, I couldn’t stand another day up there. Mosquito bites, bad weather, and shitty food.

Anyway, you’re probably wondering why the title of this post is ‘Pokemon Villages’. The reason is because back in the day I used to have miniature Pokemon figurines, and I would make houses and villages for them up at my cabin.

Also, Fourth of July sucked here. The city’s fireworks were lame, the (illegal) fireworks that families were setting off were better.

Mosh Pits, Gay Twins, and Atmosphere

Last night was the greatest night of my life. My girlfriend and I, went to the Taste of Minnesota to see Atmosphere. If you don’t know who Atmosphere is, fuck you. But we were there all day, because it was cheaper if we got there before 4:00PM. So all day, we were walking around listening to other bands play before Atmosphere went on at 8:45PM.

P.O.S opened for Atmosphere, and I gotta say he was pretty good. He played with this other guy named Astronautalis or something. P.O.S decided to tell everyone to have a crazy mosh pit, so obviously it happened. After the mosh pit was over, I look away for a few seconds and I turn around to see a dehydrated man come crashing through the crowds of people. He fell on the ground right by me, and started shaking and shit. It was scary.

When Atmosphere came out, everybody went fucking insane, no joke. He started out the evening rapping about his hometown, good ol’ Minneapolis, Minnesota. Right in front of us, there were these two guys, who looked just like twins, who were grinding all over each other, and they were pretty much grinding on us. I pushed them forward every time, and they would turn around and say something that I didn’t understand, because they were drunk.

Taste of Minnesota

I finally got my car fixed! The guy who fixed it for us also charged us very little to fix both mine and my sisters cars. $210 for replacing a power steering pump, sealing a transmission leak, and putting in new bearings. He’s a great guy.

Anyway, since I have freedom again, I’ve been looking around for places to go. The Taste of Minnesota is taking place this weekend, and me and my girlfriend are going on Friday. Atmosphere and P.O.S are playing. Fuck yeah, Minnesota!

Something else that I’ve been getting into recently is fishing. Good ol’ Minnesotan culture, eh? Not really. I’ve gone fishing everyday this week, and haven’t even gotten a nibble.

Oh, hey guys. Check out my awesome car. Just look at that beauty.

This car is literally bleeding to death. Whatever you could think of that goes wrong with cars, will go wrong with mine. When my sister had it, she had problems with it overheating. We fixed it but we put in over $400 to get that fucker fixed. Now, when my sister handed it down to me, I’m having problems with the power steering. I make the slightest turn left or right, and you can hear the car growl at me. It’s the worst sound you will ever hear, in your entire life. I wish I could record the sound and show it to you guys, but sadly I don’t even want that sound to be recorded, where it stays forever, and ever, only to be heard countless more times by future generations.

The power steering pump happens to have a crack in it, so it leaks power steering fluid all over my driveway.

God damnit, I’m mad. Also WordPress 3.0 is cool.

Wear Your Fucking Seatbelts

I don’t care if it’s not the law in your state yet, wear your fucking seatbelts.

I always wear my seatbelt, because I’m always the one driving, and I’m not retarded. So I’m with my girlfriend, and she’s kind of drunk. Her sister and her sister’s friends start begging me for a ride, so I give in and decide to drive them a few miles to a party. They are drunk too, and all three of the girls in my car decide not to wear their seatbelts. So I’m driving down the street right, when I see up ahead two men wearing crossing guard vests standing on the corners of the street. I don’t really think much of it, but when I stop at the stop sign, it turns out that it was a cop, and they were doing a routine check on seatbelts. There were honestly cops all the way up and down the cross-street. Since the three girls in my car weren’t wearing their seatbelts, he asks me to pull over up ahead and to talk to the officer up there.

The cop takes our ID’s, and goes back into his squad car checking out background. It takes him around 30 minutes to do his business, at which point I was freaking out, because in Minnesota, 16 year old drivers are only supposed to have 1 other passenger in their car. He comes back and gives the three girls tickets, all of them are $110. Bullshit, I know. I was really fucking surprised that I didn’t get in trouble for having more than 1 passenger, but my guess is that they didn’t give me one because the other two passengers were over 18.

Yep, that’s my story. So wear your mother fucking seatbelts. I don’t care if you’re too cool.

Holy Shit

I forgot about my website. Like, it literally deleted itself from my brain. Damn, so much shit has happened since my last post.

I got my driver’s license on my birthday, which was May 6th. I got a pretty decent car, it’s a ’91 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. It sounds like a fast food burger, I know. The only thing that’s wrong with it is that it is dirty. Like, seriously fucking dirty. My sister fucked that shit up. It’s also got a pretty decent sound system, which is all I care about. I can’t even tell you how fucking fun it is just driving down the street bumping.

Oh, and I also saw Iron Man 2 at the drive-in, but I was with my girlfriend, so I didn’t actually see any of it.

Target Field

Well, as most of you know, I live in Minnesota, home of the Minnesota Twins. Recently, we built a new stadium, which the Twins have needed for some time now. This new stadium is called, Target Field, and let me tell you, it’s fucking amazing. I went there with my aunt and uncle, and it is probably the coolest thing I’ve ever seen in Minnesota. But was it a good reason to spend $500 million on a new baseball stadium (which we didn’t REALLY need, because we still have the Metrodome), when America is in so much debt? It’s not right now, but it will gain a lot of profit, and stur the economy up a lot. There’s hundreds of restaurants and bars just outside the stadium, where drunks will just walk into after the baseball game and spend all of there money. Also, everyone is going to be going to the the baseball games just to see the new stadium. I went on a Tuesday night, and there was not one empty seat.

Anyway, yesterday I saw two movie at the drive-in; you know, those places you park your car and watch a movie? They’re kind of out of style now, but I don’t care, they’re awesome. I saw ‘How To Train Your Dragon’, and ‘The Last Song’, with this girl I like, and another couple of friends (who are in a relationship, so it was kind of like a double date). The bad thing is, this annoying black chick invited herself along, and was a total cock block; talking the whole time on her cellular to her boyfriend, and just being loud. The ending of ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ was fucking awesome, but I didn’t know what was going on because I was doing other shit during the rest of the movie. But ‘The Last Song’ was just fucking horrible. Miley Cyrus, is the worst actor that has ever been reproduced, she’s still hot as hell though.

Today, I wrote a poem about catnip. When my teacher read it, he couldn’t stop laughing, and he almost tripped himself to death over a cord. It’s not actually that funny, but he’s a teacher.

Anyway, nothing new really, this is a filler post. I had MCA’s on Tuesday/Wednesday, and those were probably the most boring days of my life. Instead of them giving us two hours to take the test like they usually do, they gave us three hours each day. I finished in about an hour, so I had two hours to catch up on my sleeping. It was a great two hours as well.

Oh yeah, and the other day I was being cool, and I pretended to be in MW2, and as my throwing knife, I used a pencil, and whipped it at my friend and stabbed him in the eye. Epic? I think so.

Term 4

I have entered my last quarter as a sophomore. 46 days left of school for me, which is really not that much. I only have one new class, thank god.

Ceramics A
AP World History
English
Algebra II B

Ceramics is horrible so far. All we’ve done so far is sit there and learn about pottery. We get to use the wheel on Thursday though, and actually get to start playing with clay. It’s also horribly dry in there, and I can’t stand it.

AP World History is pretty much the same, but one of my friends got switched out of there. And I no longer sit right next to the smartest kid in the class, which really sucks.

English is a lot better, mainly because my teacher changed the seating charts for the first time. I no longer sit in the most cramped area in the room.

Math is a hell of a lot better too, mainly because one of my best friends switched into there. The problem is that she expects me to give her all the answers, which isn’t going to happen.

So there you go. My life for the next 2 months.
